You’ll be at the centre of the emerging cultural shift to become insight driven. You can help make a difference working with a team of analysts and wider stakeholders to understand what is required to meet the needs of our population, while complying with external assurance frameworks and supporting our elected Members with key insights. This is an opportunity for a fixed term role (1 year with the possibility to extend) as a Senior Data Analyst within a career grade position, working with multiple areas of the organisation including our Economy, Environment and Infrastructure and Public Health Teams.
To be successful, you’ll need experience in analysing data and disseminating it to a range of stakeholders through presentations, narrative reports as well as through visualisation using tools including GIS and Power BI. Ideally, you’ll have some level of working knowledge of Economy, Environment and Infrastructure or Public Health in a data context, experience of using GIS software would also be advantageous. You’ll also be able to manage multiple projects to demanding timescales while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
