Job summary

Saputo is seeking a Senior Product Developer to lead development projects across our Butters, Spreads & Oils portfolio. You will drive innovation, cost optimisation and new recipes for customers, working independently on multiple projects from concept through scale up to launch.

Based at Kirkby with the option to work from home up to one day per week, you will travel to UK sites and collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, Production and Technical teams to deliver timely, cost‑effective product

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science/Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in the food industry, ideally dairy/chilled.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, emulsions, and processing.
• Proficient in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple product development projects from concept through to launch.
• Develop cost-effective products and processes with technical support to the business.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, Production, and Technical teams to ensure timely delivery.
