Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Senior D&O Underwriter based in Manchester or Leeds. You will drive new business growth across the North region, manage broker relationships, and oversee renewal business with a focus on profitability and growth.

You will mentor junior underwriters and contribute to regional strategy and sales plans. Join Travelers Europe in a hybrid role, working three days in the office and two from home, while delivering exceptional underwriting and broker service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of underwriting in management liability/professional indemnity/financial institutions required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and assess risk for products and accounts from assigned brokers.
• Make decisions within underwriting authority and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Develop and execute broker relationships to drive new business and handle renewals.
• Contribute to portfolio profitability through pricing, terms and conditions, and risk selection.
• Collaborate with Head Office, Risk Control, Claims and other teams to support underwriting and sales goals.
• Develop and lead regional sales plans and participate in regular meetings with team.
