Overview

Do you want to be part of a rapidly developing service committed to improving the lives of Children, Young People and their families?

In a period of exciting development, South Cumbria CYPMH are currently looking to recruit a full‑time Band 6 Senior CYPMH Practitioner.

Responsibilities

You will work as a member of our multidisciplinary team providing a range of evidence‑based treatments such as CBT, EMDR and Decision Skills Workshops to children and young people (up to the age of 18) and their families. You will collaborate closely with partner agencies and support the ongoing continuous professional development of staff through training initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with post‑registration experience.
  • Experience working with children and young people (advantageous).
  • Passion for working with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Working Hours & Flexible Working

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. We support flexible working patterns such as term‑time, part‑time, compressed hours and flexi‑time.
