Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Cybersecurity and Tech Controls seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the firm’s cybersecurity architecture. You will shape cloud-based platforms, identify risk, and align security strategies with business objectives, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on practical zero-trust cybersecurity architecture applicable across business units.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of network security, identity management, and access management.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture and application development.
• Ability to present to senior leaders and executives.
• Understanding of business and current risk trends.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to advance target-state cybersecurity.
• Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy.
• Creates secure architecture for heterogeneous environments including public cloud.
• Develops secure, production-ready code to prototype security solutions.
• Serves as go-to security SME and drives thought leadership.
• Contributes to technical methods in cybersecurity per latest product methodologies.
• Creates reusable security architecture patterns to improve security, velocity and quality.
