Job summary

Babcock International in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Detection and Response Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations capability in a hybrid working arrangement. You will play a pivotal role in leading advanced threat detection, incident response and proactive threat hunting to protect critical operations.

You will work with SIEM and EDR technologies, collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Security Assurance, Vulnerability Management and IT Operations teams, and help

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Cyber Security Operations, Incident Response or Threat Detection environments.
• Experience investigating and managing complex cyber security incidents.
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR technologies and threat detection solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex cyber security investigations and incident response activities.
• Conducting proactive threat hunting to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analysing security alerts, logs and telemetry data to detect malicious activity.
• Collaborating with Threat Intelligence, Security Assurance, Vulnerability Management and IT Operations teams to strengthen cyber resilience.
• Driving continuous improvement of detection capabilities and response processes.
