Senior Cyber Security Architect

A leading global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to join its growing team. This newly created role reflects the organisation's continued investment in secure infrastructure and innovation across cloud and on–premises environments.

You'll be part of a global, multi–disciplinary team, working on embedding security into infrastructure architecture across a broad range of technologies and projects. The role offers exposure to cutting–edge cloud platforms and the opportunity to influence strategic security decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of secure cloud and on–premises infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams to develop cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Conduct risk assessments focusing on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of proposed solutions.
• Provide expert recommendations on mitigating controls and risk prioritisation.
• Present architectural decisions and security strategies to stakeholders including engineering, IT, and third–party vendors.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Security Architect.
• Proven track record in designing secure infrastructure solutions.
• Hands–on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and access control.
• Ability to map control frameworks to security practices and conduct gap analyses.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate security requirements across technical and non–technical audiences.
