Senior Cyber Consultant

Salary : £60K – £80K Base

It's a pathway role that will set you up to be the practice lead. The CISO is looking for someone ready to step up and lean into that role. You'll get all the support you need to achieve it, you just need to want it.

What You’ll Be Doing - Apart from winning at life!

• Improving Security for Clients : Running risk and gap assessments against frameworks like Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Spotting & Fixing Issues : Carrying out vulnerability assessments and helping deliver services like MDR, Pen Testing, and DLP.
• Offering Straightforward, Practical Advice : Guiding clients on governance, incident response, and awareness training — becoming someone they trust to steer them in the right direction.
• Working as Part of a Team : Partnering with colleagues across the business to deliver solid, high-quality work and a great experience for your clients.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in SME environments and supporting organisations of that size.
• Someone who has delivered end-to-end engagements in a client-facing role.
• Commercially aware, understands how consultancy works, and familiar with concepts like utilisation.
• Able to hit the ground running and comfortably own their own client book.
• A strong understanding of security frameworks, tools, and good practices.
• A confident communicator who can talk to both technical and non-technical people.
• A proactive problem solver who likes working with others and doing the right thing for clients and teammates.
