A travel and adventure company in Scotland is seeking a Senior Custom Trip Designer to create and sell bespoke travel itineraries for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the travel sector, the ability to meet sales targets, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, designing detailed trip proposals, and ensuring smooth operations. The role offers a salary range of £25,375 to £32,650, flexible working, and extensive benefits including holidays and development opportunities.
As Senior Custom Trip Designer, you will design, cost, and sell bespoke travel itineraries for clients, focusing on Scotland and England.
You will manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to conversion and delivery, working to ambitious but achievable sales targets.
You will create detailed, inspiring trip proposals that are realistic, well planned, and aligned with client expectations.
You will collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure trips run smoothly and to a high standard.
You will maintain accurate records within the company CRM and contribute to the wider sales team where required.
Some weekend work may be required to support out of hours operational needs.
Strong experience in creating and selling custom travel itineraries, ideally within the travel or tourism sector.
A proven ability to meet or exceed sales and conversion targets.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, even when managing multiple enquiries and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Good IT skills, with experience using CRM systems and cloud based tools.
A genuine passion for travel, adventure, sustainability, and wild places.
Salary £25,375 to £32,650, depending on experience.
35 hour working week.
31 days holiday plus up to 12 additional rostered days off per year.
