Job summary

The CT Department at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Addenbrooke's and the Rosie Hospital) invites a motivated Senior Band 7 CT Radiographer to join our team. You will support CT imaging across CUH and off-site facilities in Sawston and Ely Community Diagnostic Centres, maintaining highest standards of patient care.

You will carry out a wide range of CT examinations, coordinate daily workflow, supervise junior staff, and ensure documentation in Epic and PACS is accurate.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration current is required.
• Experience in cross-sectional imaging is essential.
• Participation in CPD is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out imaging to professional standards per guidelines.
• Interpret images and perform additional views, reconstructions or IV contrast as necessary.
• Record patient details on eHospital (Epic) and PACS for analysis and archiving.
• Coordinate daily CT services, vet CT requests, assign protocols and prioritise requests.
• Ensure clinical priorities are met and the service runs efficiently.
• Be a point of contact for major accidents/incidents.
• Participate in a full shift system including nights.
• Supervise junior staff and handle administrative responsibilities.
