CBC Resourcing Solutions is partnering with a well respected name in the UK asset finance sector to recruit an experienced credit analyst. The role focuses on underwriting new credit applications for hard assets across manufacturing, construction, recycling and agricultural equipment.

The candidate will assess asset values, reference third-party valuers and market guides, and ensure adherence to credit policies while supporting Sales, Operations and Collections.

Qualifications

• Experienced credit underwriter with hard asset finance background.
• Experience with manual underwriting, not scorecards.
• Strong understanding of credit risk and assessment processes.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite proposals and assess credit applications to meet risk standards.
• Maintain knowledge of asset types such as hire purchase, finance and operating leases.
• Assess asset values and refer to third-party valuers and market guides when needed.
• Verify group credit limits and ensure appropriate authority usage.
• Support Sales, Operations and Collections to maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage credit queues, meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Attend site visits and trade shows to monitor market trends.
