We’re looking for a Senior Credit Strategy Analyst to help design, analyse, and optimise GoCardless’s credit risk strategy. You’ll play a key role in understanding portfolio performance, shaping policy recommendations, and developing data‑driven strategies to manage and mitigate credit losses across our global merchant base. This role does not perform underwriting or credit assessments – that work sits within our Credit Underwriting team, part of Shared Services. Instead, you’ll work closely with them and other teams, such as our product organisation, internal operations teams, and commercial teams to ensure our credit policies and frameworks are robust, scalable, and commercially aligned. You’ll work in a small team that leads our approach to credit – from new product risk design to portfolio‑level mitigation strategies – helping shape GoCardless’s risk posture as we scale.
Base salary range: £48,000 – £72,000. Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. While we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid‑point (£48,000 – £60,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
