Job summary

Sky is seeking a Senior Creative Trailer Editor to lead the editing of trailers and AV campaigns for Sky Originals, delivering cinematic work across TV, social and cinema. You will collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers and finishing teams to ensure seamless workflows and exceptional output.

You’ll mentor junior editors, present edits to senior stakeholders, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep Sky’s work bold, relevant and award-worthy. Hybrid, Osterley base.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience editing high-end AV campaigns for premium entertainment brands.
• Experience delivering launch trailers, teasers, TV spots and campaign AV across platforms.
• Portfolio demonstrating launch trailers and multi-market campaigns.
• Strong understanding of AV workflows from brief to delivery.
• Mentoring experience and ability to lead editorial teams.

Sky is looking for a visionary Senior Creative Trailer Editor to join our award-winning Sky Creative team, working across our Sky Original productions. This is your chance to shape the future of entertainment marketing and create AV content that excites, inspires, and sets industry standards.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the editing of trailers and AV campaigns for Sky Originals, delivering cinematic, emotionally resonant work across platforms including TV, social, and cinema.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, Designers, and Finishing teams to ensure seamless workflows and exceptional creative output.
• Champion editorial excellence by mentoring junior editors and contributing to the development of a world-class trailer editing capability at Sky.
• Present edits confidently to senior stakeholders, articulating creative decisions with clarity and passion.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, creative techniques, and cultural moments to ensure Sky’s work remains bold, relevant, and award-worthy.
• QC all offline edits for technical, creative, and graphical precision before delivery.
• Share work-in-progress edits regularly to foster collaboration and creative alignment.
• Take ownership of larger, more complex projects and act as a creative lead when needed.

Essential Criteria:

• Extensive experience editing high-end AV campaigns within a specialist creative advertising agency, AV campaign studio, or trailer-focused marketing environment serving major studios, broadcasters and streaming platforms.
• Demonstrable experience creating launch trailers, teasers, TV spots and campaign AV for premium scripted series, feature films, franchise properties or internationally distributed entertainment brands.
• Proven experience delivering global master assets, international versioning and multi-market AV campaigns across broadcast, digital and social platforms.
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and a deep understanding of AV workflows from brief to delivery.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for pushing creative boundaries.
• Experience mentoring junior creatives and contributing to team development.
• Strong awareness of industry regulations (e.g. Ofcom), music licensing, censorship, finishing processes and technical delivery requirements.
• A love for entertainment and a keen eye on the latest campaigns, releases and creative trends.
• We are specifically seeking editors with substantial experience creating launch trailers and campaign AV for premium drama, feature films, franchise entertainment and major content launches at Senior Creative Trailer Editor level. This role is not aimed at editors whose background is primarily in broadcast promotions, continuity, channel marketing or programme promotional work.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate this experience through a portfolio featuring launch trailers, teasers, TV spots and campaign AV for premium entertainment brands, which will form a key part of the assessment process.
