Job summary

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Senior Creative Development Executive to support the entire lifecycle of original scripted productions, from sourcing to release. The role requires proven experience in scripted development and production, aligned with strong industry relationships and a proactive, deadline‑driven mindset.

You will react quickly to urgent situations, solve complex problems, and coordinate with multiple departments to push projects forward, ensuring high‑quality creative outcomes

• Support all creative aspects of development, production and post‑production.
• Liaise between the UK Series department and Casting, Production, Marketing, Press, Research, Business and Legal Affairs.

Job description

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Creative Development Executive to work with the UK Series team. This role involves supporting the entire lifecycle of original scripted productions, from sourcing to release. The ideal candidate will bring experience in scripted development and production, either at a producer or commissioner, with a comprehensive understanding of the TV landscape. We're looking for someone with proven creative instincts in supporting the selection and development of projects, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and established industry relationships

The successful candidate will be able to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. The candidate will also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.

Key job responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality of scripts and offer creative feedback

• Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
• Experience working as a producer, creative executive, or a similar role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of the US media landscape
• Experience developing content that is award nominated, or from a broadcast network or streaming platform
