Job summary

Parexel is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate based in the United Kingdom, ideally in the South West of England, willing to travel regularly. You will be the primary contact for site management, monitoring and study execution across assigned investigator sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science or equivalent.
• Extensive clinical research experience with site monitoring and trial execution.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP and local regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of study management, drug handling, data management and trial processes.
• Experience using CTMS, eTMF and other clinical trial technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, organization and problem solving.
• Proficiency in English; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Hold a valid driving licence where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site preparation, initiation, monitoring, and close-out as per protocol, ICH GCP, sponsor procedures and local rules.
• Serve as main contact for investigative sites and build partnerships to meet study objectives.
• Train and advise investigators and site staff on study requirements and risk-based quality management.
• Conduct onsite and remote monitoring visits, SDV, and CRF review per monitoring plans.
• Identify and manage site/study issues to ensure progress and timely resolutions.
• Perform site quality risk assessments and adapt monitoring activities accordingly.
• Ensure timely reporting of SAEs, queries, and data collection.
• Maintain site study information in CTMS and other systems.
• Support document collection and inspection readiness in eTMF and site files.
• Collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to support audits and inspections.
• Manage study supplies and drug accountability as required.
• Share insights on site performance and investigator engagement.
