Austen Lloyd Limited is seeking a Senior Court of Protection Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm in Berkshire. You will handle deputyship applications, advise vulnerable clients, and manage high-value care and capacity matters.

The role offers hybrid working, strong progression, and a competitive salary package within a Legal 500 ranked team. You will work with families, professionals and case managers, developing expertise in the Court of Protection estate.

Qualifications

• Experience in Court of Protection matters and deputyship applications.
• Strong understanding of mental capacity law and related procedures.
• Excellent client care and communication skills with empathy.
• Experience supervising junior staff is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage a range of Court of Protection matters and deputyship applications.
• Advise vulnerable clients on financial management, care arrangements and capacity issues.
• Handle high-value cases with complex needs and liaise with families and professionals.
• Prepare applications, reports and correspondence for the Court of Protection.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and support related private client work.
