Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in UK or comparable jurisdiction.
• Experience in publishing/IP law and transactional work.
• Strong commercial and risk assessment judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across publishing ethics, rights clearance and disputes.
• Develop and negotiate contracts with rightsholders and partners.
• Advise content acquisition teams with clear, practical guidance.
• Create templates, training, and policies to standardise processes.
• Communicate recommendations with realistic timelines.
