Qualifications

• Qualified Cost Lawyer or extensive experience in costs law.

• Ability to prepare costs budgets and detailed bills of costs.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and preparing detailed bills of costs and cost budgets.
• Advising on costs implications and strategy in legal proceedings.
• Managing costs recovery ensuring compliance with legal cost procedures.

Skills

Drafting and preparing detailed bills of costs

Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple cases

Proficiency in legal costing software (CostsMaster)

Education

Qualified Cost Lawyer or extensive experience in costs law
