Job summary

Archer Recruitment is partnering with a leading cost consultancy in London to recruit a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor. You will own and drive cost management from feasibility through procurement to post-contract delivery, in a client-facing capacity.

The role demands strong pre- and post-contract expertise, experience with JCT/NEC contracts, and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. MRICS status or progress is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
• Background in cost consultancy or client-side environment.
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience and knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.
• MRICS qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across your own projects.
• Develop and manage cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide commercial advice directly to clients.
• Manage valuations, financial reporting and project performance.
• Lead risk and value management and support procurement/tendering.
