Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Cost Manager to join our London-based Central and Local Government Cost Management Team. You will lead the commercial delivery of projects, monitor costs and forecasts, and provide strategic commercial guidance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires five years' experience in construction/infrastructure, proficiency in cost/contract management, procurement and risk management, and MRICS or equivalent is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
• Five years' experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Cost Management, Contract Management (JCT and NEC), Procurement, and Risk Management.
• Knowledge of cost planning, estimating, valuation, reporting, and change control processes.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience managing commissions, supporting team development, and sharing best practice.
• The ability to identify efficiencies and drive improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Good understanding of construction industry practices, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Degree or HNC level qualification.
• Professionally qualified is desired (MRICS or similar).

Job Description We are currently recruiting Senior Cost Managers to join our London-based Central and Local Government Cost Management Team, supporting projects across the central and local government sector. The team delivers a diverse range of projects for a number of notable public sector organisations, including refurbishment of listed buildings, office fit-out projects, high-volume residential developments, and masterplanning commissions.
