Senior Corporate Tech & Cyber Underwriter

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Underwriter to join our Corporate Cyber team, a role positioned at the centre of the global cyber insurance market. We’re looking for an experienced underwriter with strong technical expertise in managing complex corporate cyber risks.

You’ll be confident negotiating directly with major brokers and skilled in business development, helping to grow and underwrite profitable business within CFC’s dynamic Cyber team.

  • Support the delivery of the corporate cyber budget by quoting new business and renewals, responding to broker information requests, and producing detailed underwriting reports on key prospects.
  • Drive business development by proactively managing broker accounts and client relationships, attending meetings and industry events, promoting CFC’s products, and hosting corporate hospitality.
  • Support the training and development of underwriting assistants within the Corporate Cyber team.
  • Contribute to the development of cyber insurance expertise, staying current with relevant legislation, regulation, and industry developments.
  • Assist in the Corporate Cyber facility renewal process, including engagement with carriers and reinsurers.
  • Participate in team projects as required, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
About you

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in corporate cyber, either from an underwriting or broking background, along with a strong track record of delivering profitable results. You’ll have excellent business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with major brokers.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support CFC’s continued growth and success.
