Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a dynamic, fast-growing advisory firm in their search for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced tax professional with strong UK advisory expertise to work closely with CEOs and CFOs, delivering commercial, high-impact advice. The role is ideal for a driven individual who thrives on building client relationships, providing tailored corporate tax solutions, and leveraging technology and AI to transform compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop long-term client relationships, partnering with business leaders across multiple industries.
  • Deliver high-quality corporate tax advice, working closely with team members and partners.
  • Provide oversight and technical assurance on UK corporation tax returns, advising on complex areas.
  • Shape and grow the UK corporate tax practice, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and productization through technology and AI.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance tax compliance and advisory processes using advanced technologies.
  • Stay current with UK tax legislation, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for clients from new developments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across advisory lines to spot and develop market opportunities.
  • Work with technology specialists to design, deliver, and scale client-facing projects using digital tools.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT) strongly preferred.
  • At least 8 years' experience in UK corporation tax compliance and advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax law, with international tax (including Pillar 2) experience desirable.
  • Track record of applying technology and AI to improve tax compliance and advisory processes.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
