Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) – West End

An established London corporate practice, recognised in the Legal 500, is entering an exciting phase of growth. The corporate team acts for a diverse client base, from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to large corporates, private equity investors, and international clients. Work spans a wide range of sectors and includes complex, high-value transactions, often with cross-border elements.

The Role

You will join a busy, forward-looking corporate team with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, giving you the opportunity to work on high-profile deals.

Your work will include:

• Advising on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and share/asset deals
• Acting on joint ventures, restructurings, and corporate governance matters
• Supporting clients on cross-border transactions, collaborating with international counsel where necessary
• Providing commercially-focused advice to boards and senior management on strategic corporate initiatives
• Developing your profile through business development, contributing to client growth and team visibility
• Mentoring junior colleagues and participating in team-led initiatives to expand practice capabilities

About You

• 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law, with solid experience in M&A and corporate advisory work
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, client-focused advice
• Confident managing relationships with clients, senior management, and external advisers
• Proactive, team-oriented, and keen to contribute to the long-term growth of the practice
• Experience in cross-border transactions is highly desirable
