Job Description

A leading law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its growing Corporate Team in London. This is a key role within a high-performing team of 30 fee-earners, including 14 partners, spread across multiple offices. The team advises a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups and high-growth companies to large private and listed entities.

You'll be instrumental in supporting partners, managing junior associates, and strengthening client relationships across a broad range of corporate matters including:

  • M&A transactions
  • Equity fundraisings (Venture Capital & Private Equity)
  • Joint ventures, partnerships & shareholder agreements
  • Corporate restructuring & governance
  • Employee share schemes

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high-quality, commercially focused legal advice across multiple corporate transactions
  • Lead and manage transactional projects with minimal supervision
  • Supervise junior fee-earners and coordinate with external experts
  • Run due diligence processes and manage virtual data rooms
  • Draft and negotiate key transaction documents including SPAs, investment agreements, and disclosure letters
  • Oversee signing and completion processes
  • Contribute to strategic goals and business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships

The Successful Applicant

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in corporate law
