Senior Corporate Associate – 5 PQE+ | Top 60 National firm | London | £85,000 – £100,000

A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leading corporate team at this well-regarded National practice, in London.

The firm, which ranks as one of the leading boutiques in London, with a particular focus on Corporate as their core practice, are looking to expand their Corporate offering with the addition of a senior associate, from six years' post qualification experience.

The corporate team in London is highly established, with 7 fee earners, including 5 Partners, 1 6 Associate, and 1 Solicitor offering a great amount of exposure, working directly with the Partners on high-value and complex Corporate matters across a range of matters, including transactional mergers and acquisitions, acting for buyers and sellers on share and assets and sales/purchases.

Key Responsibilities

In terms of the work which the team undertakes, this predominantly consists of:

• Private M&A, investment and joint venture work, including a high proportion of cross-border deals.

The salary bracket for the roles starts at £85k, ranging up to £100k for those with more experience, in addition to a relatively industry standard bonus scheme, activated for hitting the hours target of 1200.

This position is ideally suited to mid/senior corporate associates with at least six years' corporate experience. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

• A strong academic background
• Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, which is discretionary, but considered the norm.
