Job summary

Worley in Manchester is seeking a Principal Control Systems Engineer to lead automation activities under a long-standing Master Service Agreement in the Oil & Gas sector. You will drive delivery for upgrades, migrations and new installations, coordinating with clients, EPCs and OEMs to meet safety, technical and schedule requirements.

The ideal candidate brings extensive DCS/SIS knowledge, brownfield experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects, from FEED to commissioning, while

Qualifications

• Brownfield experience essential.
• Strong knowledge of DCS systems and SIS implementations in FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
• Experience with various PLC platforms and their integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate automation projects including upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and manage cutover strategies for outages.
• Review and approve DCS/PLC proposals with vendors and integrators; manage schedules and resources.
