Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support a significant combustion system upgrade project. This remote role requires strong experience in control systems engineering, particularly within thermal or coal-fired power generation. The engineer will review EC&I design documentation and ensure the integration of new combustions control systems meets emission and safety goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in control systems engineering within thermal or coal-fired power generation.
  • Hands-on expertise with combustion control, Burner Management Systems, and Boiler Safety/Protection Systems.

  • Nice to have: Experience with Functional Safety (SIL, IEC 61508/61511).

Overview

Control Systems Engineer — Duration: 6 Months Contract • Remote

Are you passionate about control systems and power generation? We're seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support a live combustion system upgrade project for a lignite-fired boiler in the Balkans.

This role involves reviewing and finalising EC&I design documentation, ensuring the successful integration of new combustion control systems to meet emission-reduction and safety goals.
