Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the delivery of Response and Maintenance contracts across East Devon. The role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget while developing a high-performing team.

You will drive health and safety standards, manage resources, coordinate subcontractors, and report on site performance. A SMSTS qualification and strong leadership are preferred.

• Leadership experience delivering contracts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel reporting and data-driven delivery capability.
• Health and Safety management focus with practical, on-site governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of Response/Maintenance workstreams, ensuring on-time, on-budget projects.
• Inspire and develop the team, including apprentices, through hands-on leadership.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding to build a capable, cohesive team.
• Prioritise health and safety with site-wide governance and proactive controls.
