Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager for passive fire protection in North London. You will take ownership of large-scale projects valued between £2 million and £4 million, driving delivery safely, on time and within budget while upholding the highest quality and compliance standards.

You will oversee direct labour teams and subcontractors, manage client relationships, monitor budgets and progress, and work with design teams and third-party auditors to resolve

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple passive fire protection projects from inception through to completion.
• Oversee direct labour teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and performance.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and profitability, maintaining strong commercial control.
• Ensure works comply with relevant fire safety regulations, standards and company procedures.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project programmes, documentation, progress reports and contractual obligations.
• Implement quality assurance processes, including Property Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Conduct site inspections, manage defects and ensure installations are properly recorded and traceable.
• Work with design teams, clients and third-party auditors to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs without compromising safety or compliance.
