NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly and NHS Devon are seeking a Senior Contracting professional to lead clinical contracting and procurement across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. You will negotiate complex contracts, manage performance, and provide expert contract advice in a matrixed environment.

The role supports governance, drives service improvements, and requires strong partnership with finance, quality, and commissioners.

Formación

• Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
• Relevant post graduate degree or equivalent level of experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Member of relevant professional bodies, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate and performance manage a portfolio of contracted services.
• Support the Senior Contracting Lead and Head of Contracting.
• Provide supervision to Assistant Contract managers.
• Collaborate with Commissioners, Finance, Patient Safety & Quality (PSQ) and Performance colleagues.
• Analyse very complex contractual issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.
• Contribute to performance improvement in the team.
• Lead to ensure contracts deliver constitutional standards and meet Public Contract Regulations.
• Coordinate assurance and monitoring processes across ICB contracts.
• Develop new contracting approaches to meet ICB needs.
