Job summary

Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join the GB Healthcare team, operating nationwide with regular travel and overnight stays. The role offers a permanent contract, company car, private medical scheme, and 25 days leave plus holidays.

An annual salary up to 67,000 with a bonus of up to 10% is provided. Ideal candidates will have a degree or equivalent experience, a project management qualification, and proven ability to deliver large construction or modular projects with strong

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering large and complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and processes.
• Strong financial control in project delivery, cost management and final accounts.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and contractors.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for successful project management and delivery of allocated contracts.
• Act as subject matter expert in project delivery and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve objectives.
• Maintain or improve project margins and cash flow through planning and budgeting.
• Produce reports for stakeholders with progress against programme and costs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and resolve disputes when required.
• Build strong customer relationships and be main contact for contracts.
• Support bid and pre-construction activity as needed.
• Provide coaching and line management where applicable.
