Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Content Security Engineer to protect pre-release content across Amazon Global Media and Entertainment.

The role blends advisory work with hands-on security engineering, securing workflows, researching protection measures, and maintaining cloud infrastructure powering security tools. You will collaborate with studio teams through the production lifecycle and drive initiatives to counter generative AI threats, leveraging automation to scale content

Qualifications

• Non-internship scripting/programming experience.
• Non-internship troubleshooting and log analysis experience.
• Experience identifying security issues and mitigating risks.
• Experience in industry-based security vulnerabilities identification and remediation.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary content security advisor to film and series production teams, providing tailored guidance on secure workflow design.
• Assess internal and external content processing architectures to securely deploy content networks.
• Manage security assessments of 3rd party services and tools
• Research, evaluate, and pilot next-generation content security measures such as forensic watermarking and fingerprinting.
• Contribute to strategy for securing pre-release content against generative AI threats and translate risks into actionable controls.
• Maintain and enhance AWS infrastructure and applications supporting Content Security operations and build internal tooling.
• Write and maintain lightweight automation (Python/scripting) to support tooling and reporting.
• Develop and iterate security standard operating procedures tailored to each studio and production team.
• Provide regular written updates on program status, risk posture, and incident findings.
