A leading e-commerce agency in the UK seeks a Content Strategist to oversee its content strategy on Amazon and improve brand visibility. The successful candidate will have over 4 years of experience in content marketing, strong communication skills, and a passion for e-commerce. This role includes managing teams and working closely with clients to drive content excellence.
STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP: You take overall responsibility for the UK content strategy on Amazon and other relevant e-commerce channels. You define KPIs, set quality standards, and drive initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and conversion.
AMAZON CONTENT EXCELLENCE: You oversee the creation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of market-specific and SEO-relevant content (product titles, texts, and descriptions). You guide the creative use of images, videos, and storytelling elements to elevate brand presence on the UK marketplace.
SEO & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT: You lead advanced keyword research and implement cutting-edge SEO tactics. You plan and manage comprehensive content marketing campaigns, aligning them with broader business and advertising strategies.
TEAM & CROSS-MARKET COORDINATION: You supervise and mentor UK writers, ensure smooth workflows, and foster knowledge exchange across all content markets. You provide constructive feedback and build scalable processes for content production.
CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION: Acting as the primary contact for key UK clients, you advise them strategically on content performance, deliver insights, and represent our content expertise in cross-functional meetings with internal teams and external partners.
LANGUAGE EXPERTISE: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English at a native or near-native level; additional European languages are a strong plus.
EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of professional experience in journalism, editorial management, SEO, or content marketing—preferably within an agency or e-commerce environment, including leadership or project-management responsibilities.
EDUCATION & SKILLS: University degree in journalism, linguistics, media, business, or a comparable field. Strong analytical mindset and confidence with digital tools and data-driven decision making.
STRATEGIC THINKER & MENTOR: Proven ability to translate complex goals into clear strategies, inspire team members, and ensure consistent content quality across markets.
E-COMMERCE PASSION: Deep understanding of how SEO, product discovery, and brand storytelling drive performance on Amazon.co.uk and other marketplaces; prior Amazon content experience is a major advantage.
