Job summary

JS Money Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Contaminated Land Consultant to join its London environmental team. You will lead complex contaminated land assessments, manage projects and supervise junior staff while collaborating with planning and engineering specialists.

The role is office/hybrid based with site visits as needed, offering opportunities to work on high-profile brownfield developments and engage with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, geology, chemistry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK contaminated land legislation and guidance.
• Experience delivering contaminated land assessments on development projects.
• Experience supervising ground investigations and reporting.
• Proven report-writing and project/budget management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and liaise with clients.
• Chartered status with a professional body or working towards it.
• Experience on large-scale, multi-plot brownfield projects would be valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver contaminated land assessments and technical reports.
• Manage projects, programmes and budgets; support senior leadership.
• Coordinate ground investigations and liaise with site teams and regulators.
• Develop conceptual site models and assess contamination risks.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
• Support proposals and business development.
