JS Money Limited in London is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join the growing Land Quality team. You will deliver contaminated land assessments from initial due diligence through remediation and completion, working within a multidisciplinary environment to support major developments.

You’ll be involved in Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies, manage ground investigations, and produce high-quality environmental reports while coordinating with planners, engineers and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience in contaminated land consultancy and developing technical and commercial skills.
• Experience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments and ground investigations.
• Strong report writing and client liaison abilities.
• Project management experience and ability to manage multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contaminated land and brownfield assessments across a diverse portfolio.
• Prepare Phase 1 Desk Studies and support Phase 2 Site Investigations.
• Manage ground investigations and liaise with contractors.
• Produce high-quality technical reports, including Ground Conditions for Environmental Statements.

My client is looking to recruit an ambitious Environmental Consultant to join their growing Land Quality team in London. Working within a multidisciplinary team of environmental, planning and engineering specialists, you'll play a key role in delivering contaminated land assessments from initial due diligence through to remediation and project completion. What You'll Be Doing

• Support and mentor junior members of the team.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in contaminated land consultancy and are looking to continue developing their technical and commercial skills.

Ideally you'll have experience in:

• Phase 1 and Phase 2 Contaminated Land Assessments.
• Ground investigations and site supervision.
• Contaminated land risk assessment.
• Technical report writing.
• Brownfield redevelopment.
• Client liaison and project management.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment (DQRA).
• Hydrogeology.
• Ground gas or vapour risk assessment.
• Waste classification and DoWCoP.
• Environmental permitting.
• Asbestos in soils.
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Remediation design and verification.

You'll also have:

• A relevant environmental, geological or engineering degree.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution (or be working towards Chartership).
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for solving complex environmental challenges.
