Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced consultant psychiatrist to join the team. You will provide expert clinical leadership, manage complex cases, and work within a MDT to deliver high quality mental health services.

The role requires GMC registration, eligibility for Specialist Register in General Adult Psychiatry, and approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act, with opportunities for teaching and service development within a supportive Trust

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to communicate with patients, colleagues and staff at all levels.
• Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences including courts.
• Motivate and develop other medical colleagues and MDT members.
• Understand political and financial framework of the Trust.
• Meet duties under MHA and MCA.
