Qualifications

• GMC Specialist Register status or in process within six months.
• Approved Clinician/Responsible Clinician status or committed to achieve.
• Significant experience in acute mental health issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for CAU and Police Pathways services.
• Conduct Section 136 assessments and manage brief CAU admissions.
• Collaborate with Crisis Assessment Unit and Street Triage teams.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent knowledge within specialty

Education

MBChB or equivalent medical qualification

Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists

Fully registered with GMC
