Job summary

A leading digital aviation consultancy in Greater London is seeking a Senior Consultant Technology. The role emphasizes engaging in complex technical and regulatory aspects of airspace modernization and requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, along with a bachelor's degree in engineering, aviation, or IT. Candidates should have strong knowledge of UAS and UTM standards, excellent time management skills, and professional English proficiency. The position requires 4 days per week in the office and offers the chance to work with a fast-growing consulting company on exciting aviation projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in airspace modernisation.
• Familiarity with EU regulations regarding UAS or/and UTM systems.
• Knowledge of UAS and UTM/ATM and associated standards.
• Professional English; Spanish and/or German are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support global consulting team in airspace policy and regulatory projects.
• Provide expert advice on airspace modernisation programs.
• Work as client-side advisor to regulatory authorities.
• Work as client side advisor to regulatory authorities on a wide variety of airspace topics maintaining a high level of integrity and independence.
• Flight procedures design.
• Airspace structures design.

This position requires at least 4 days per week working from office.

Your Responsibilities

• Support our global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects
• Engage in the complex technical and regulatory aspects of nation‑wide airspace modernisation programs providing expert advice on a wide variety of subjects including (but not limited to):
• Electronic Conspicuity
• Detect and Avoid
• UTM
• ATM Systems
• SWIM
• Support complex airspace change efforts to accommodate and later integrate new entrants (drones, EVTOL and HAPS)
• Work as client side advisor to regulatory authorities on a wide variety of airspace topics maintaining a high level of integrity and independence
• Flight procedures design
• Airspace structures design

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, IT, or a related technical field.
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of UAS and UTM/ATM and associated standards.
• English language at professional level, additional language skills in Spanish and/or German would be plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiar with EU regulations regarding UAS or/and UTM systems.
