Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Construction team across regional locations with remote working options. The successful candidate will support projects from tender through delivery for schemes ranging from £5M to £100M+, involving education, health, defence and other sectors across the UK.

You will create integrated programmes, monitor progress, identify risks, collaborate with teams and mentor junior planners. Full-time role with flexibility on hours where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction planning within a main contractor environment.
• Construction qualification (BSc, HNC/D or similar).
• Proficiency with Asta Powerproject and planning tools (and related software).

Responsibilities

• Create fully integrated programmes for all project disciplines with realistic timescales and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress and provide clear, accurate reporting to project teams and clients.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Mentor junior planning team members and share expertise.
