Job summary

Lanesra Technical Recruitment is assisting a Tier 1 D&B contractor with Water/Water Recycling non-infrastructure projects in the Peterborough area. The Senior Construction Manager will oversee quality, cost and timely delivery of multiple sites, managing a programme valued at over £150m per year.

The role leads Site Managers, drives safety and efficiency, and coordinates with Anglian Water, partners and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget. A strong leader is essential.

Qualifications

• An experienced construction leader with a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Significant experience in large-scale construction management - ideally within the water, utilities or infrastructure sector.
• A deep understanding of construction techniques, engineering processes, and project planning.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.

Job description

Position: Senior Construction Manager - Water

Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Working)

Salary Guide: £90,000 - £100,000 Plus Bonus, Car/Allowance & Excellent Package

Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for Anglian Water and they are recruiting for a Senior Construction Manager/Head of Construction to help deliver these projects.

In this role you will oversee the management of quality, cost and timely delivery of all construction activity carried out on multiple sites through the leadership of Site Managers and on‑site resources. With over 800 projects to deliver you will work on either Water/Water Recycling Non‑Infrastructure or Infrastructure programme areas with responsibility for a programme of work valued at over £150m per year.
