Job summary

Mills & Reeve is seeking a Senior or Principal Associate to join our Construction Insurance team on a permanent basis. The role sits within our national Insurance Disputes practice and involves advising insurers on construction coverage with a focus on professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation.

This is a hybrid role with offices in Manchester or other regional offices (Birmingham, Leeds, Norwich) reachable under our hybrid policy; UK-wide client base and a supportive, collaborative

Qualifications

• Senior or Principal Associate (generally 6 years PQE or above) with a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation.
• Experience in private practice (preferably at a large regional or City law firm) or in-house with a major insurer or MGA.
• Solid experience advising insurers on construction coverage.

Responsibilities

• Construction-focused role acting for architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants.
• Clients located nationally with work referred via insurers or nominations, including many near London but with regional teams.
• Work within Mills & Reeve's Construction Insurance group as part of the national Insurance Disputes practice.
