Job summary

CSR (NI) LIMITED is seeking a Senior Contracts Advisor – Construction to support the legal and commercial team on major projects. You will review building contracts, manage risk, and negotiate terms with clients and external solicitors throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidates should have 3+ years in a similar role within contracting, and a background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or related disciplines. JCT Design & Build experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role with a contractor, developer, or construction consultancy.
• Strong understanding of building contracts and contract negotiation.
• Experience with JCT Design & Build Contracts is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage to completion.
• Review and analyse building contracts during the tender process.
• Identify contractual risks, liabilities, and commercial opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate building contracts with clients, client legal teams, and external solicitors.
• Ensure contracts align with the company's insurance and risk management requirements.
• Support the pre-construction commercial and legal teams with non-contentious contract matters.
