Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading construction business in Taunton. You will oversee construction contracts, support performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with contractual requirements across refurbishments and new builds.

The role requires a sound understanding of contracts, strong commercial awareness, and excellent communication with clients, subcontractors and internal teams. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing construction contracts.
• Strong understanding of cost control and risk.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel to the Taunton office and projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and administration of construction contracts
• Monitor project progress and ensure contractual requirements and timescales
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Support management of variations, valuations and documentation
• Monitor costs and commercial performance, identify risks/opportunities
• Ensure health and safety standards and company procedures
• Address contractual/operational issues to minimise delays and disputes
• Maintain records and provide progress updates
• Coordinate resources to achieve project objectives
