Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Manchester is recruiting a Construction Assurance Manager to join our growing infrastructure team. You will lead client-side assurance on major programmes, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance while coordinating with construction managers, contractors and supply chains.

You will produce assurance reports for leadership and regulators, monitor progress against programmes, capture lessons learned and drive improvements in delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive construction experience on major programmes.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline.
• Chartered status (CEng, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-side construction assurance plan.
• Verify contractors use approved methodologies, QMS and ITPs.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance with design and contracts.
• Monitor progress against the programme.
• Oversee Construction Management Plan and its acceptance.
• Act as client representative on site.
• Produce assurance reports for leadership and regulators.
• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements in delivery.
