Job summary

The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust is seeking a capable conservation trainer to lead and develop our training programme across Birmingham and the Black Country. This flexible role focuses on practical conservation and nature recovery skills, including species identification, habitat management, tool use and volunteer leadership.

Based in Centre of the Earth and EcoPark with 3–4 days in the office or on-site, you will travel locally, with occasional national travel, to deliver

This is a flexible role, based in our offices at Centre of the Earth and EcoPark, Birmingham with an expectation of 3 or 4 days per week in the office or at sites. Frequent travel across Birmingham and The Black Country is expected, but with the option of some home working where appropriate. Occasional travel nationally may be required.

Lead and develop the Trust's conservation training programme, delivering accredited and non-accredited training in practical conservation and wider nature recovery skills. From species identification and habitat management to tool use and volunteer leadership, you'll help build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to support nature's recovery across the region.
