Job summary

Fieldfisher is seeking a senior lawyer (10+ PQE) to join its Risk function in a strategic role focused on conflicts of interest and innovation. You will advise on complex conflict issues, shape risk decisions on new mandates, and help develop technology-driven onboarding and risk management processes.

This high-impact position combines technical legal work with commercial decision-making and innovation delivery, working with partners and senior stakeholders across the firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years' PQE and at least 4 years in conflicts.
• Experience advising on engagement terms, waivers and client agreements.
• Knowledge of professional conduct rules and regulatory frameworks (SRA or equivalents).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline conflicts workflows and improve onboarding processes.
• Advise on complex legal and commercial conflicts of interest, including cross-border matters.
• Lead the assessment and resolution of conflicts and support risk strategy with senior stakeholders.
• Work with Risk, Compliance, IT and BD to deliver training on conflicts processes.
