Job summary

Mustard Systems Ltd. is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead the cricket analytics data pipeline. You will develop CV models to extract key data from cricket broadcasts, ensure quality against ground truth, and scale systems to process large archives. You’ll shape technical decisions and collaborate with the Quant team and cricket specialists.

You’ll join the Data Team in a hybrid setup, with modern tools and a focus on delivering reliable, scalable analytics for cricket insights.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and deploying computer vision models in production.
• Expertise in object detection, tracking, pose estimation, action recognition, or temporal event detection.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead technical decisions.
• Strong collaboration with Quant researchers, cricket domain experts, and data engineers.
• A pragmatic mindset balancing research with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build cricket video extraction systems to pull key data from broadcasts and replays.
• Ensure data quality by validating extracted data against ground truth and aligning definitions.
• Scale pipelines to handle large volumes of historical footage with consistent quality.
