Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to contribute to next generation weapon systems. You will research, develop and evaluate algorithms for imaging sensors that provide situational awareness and guide weapons with maximum precision.

You will join an internationally connected Image Processing UK department driving world‑class algorithms and cutting‑edge technologies. The role values a PhD or strong academic background, deep math skills, and hands‑on experience

Qualifications

• PhD preferred or progress toward PhD in a related area.
• Strong mathematical content in degree (Maths, Engineering, Physics, CS).
• Curiosity for cutting-edge tech and applications.
• Expertise in image processing, CV algorithms, DL techniques, and inverse problems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and Python (PyTorch).
