Job summary

The Oxford Vaccine Group invites applications for a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Biology in Oxford. You will lead a defined area, develop computational and systems biology approaches, and integrate clinical, immunological and multi-omic datasets from CHIMs and vaccine studies.

You will collaborate with immunologists, clinicians, microbiologists, statisticians, data scientists and AI specialists, supervise junior researchers, contribute to grant applications and publications.

Qualifications

• PhD/ DPhil in computational biology or related field with post-PhD research
• Experience applying computational and bioinformatic approaches to high-throughput/multi-omic data
• Ability to lead a defined area of computational biology and develop new methods

Responsibilities

• Lead a defined area of computational biology within the programme
• Develop reproducible analytical workflows and predictive approaches
• Collaborate with immunologists, clinicians, microbiologists and data scientists
• Supervise junior researchers and contribute to funding applications
