Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a competent Composite Repair Technician to join an aviation maintenance team in Barry, Wales. The successful candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled composite maintenance and repairs, reading repair drawings and maintaining essential documentation.

You will work to MOE Part 2 and SRM procedures, use correctly maintained tooling, and inform Engineers of any safety or productivity issues while keeping the workspace clean and compliant with FOD prevention measures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation maintenance within a Part 145 organisation.
• Recency of composite repairs within the last 2 years.
• Ability to read and understand engineering repair drawings.
• Ability to use recognised aviation documentation (AMMs, SBs, ADs).

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of aircraft as defined by customer requirements.
• Carry out repairs to composite airframe structures as per SRM.
• Maintain composite room, equipment, and records incl. composite procedures.
• Work with properly maintained tooling, company tooling and calibrated test equipment.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance documentation per MOE Part 2 and procedures.
• Inform Engineers of any safety, productivity or progression issues.
• Ensure correct storage of components and tooling with labeling and protection.
• Maintain general housekeeping and FOD prevention measures.
